What is it?

Doodle backgrounds are made of small shapes that look drawn by hand: squiggles, spirals, stars, crosses and zigzags. They feel playful and personal and work well for invitations, school and kids themes, social posts and packaging.

How it works

Pick a shape or the mix, set spacing, size and stroke width, and use wobble to decide how hand-drawn the lines look. Press Space for new variations and export as SVG, CSS or image.

FAQ

Why do the lines look hand-drawn?
Every point of a shape is shifted slightly with smooth noise, then the points are joined with soft curves and drawn with round line caps.
Where do the shapes come from?
All shapes are generated in your browser from simple geometric rules. There are no image templates, every variation is new.
Why don't the doodles overlap?
Positions come from Poisson-disk sampling. Every shape keeps a minimum distance, so the spread looks even yet random.
Can I edit the SVG?
Yes. All strokes of one color sit in a single stroked path without transforms, easy to recolor in Figma or Illustrator.
