Tips

  • Always test the finished code with two or three phones before you print it.
  • Dark code on a light background scans best. Keep the contrast at 3:1 or more.
  • The shorter the text, the bigger and easier to scan each module. Use a short link for long addresses.

FAQ

Do the QR codes expire?
No. The content is stored in the code itself, not on a server. The code works as long as the link behind it works.
Can I put my logo in the middle?
Yes. The modules behind the logo are left out and the error correction restores them. Use level Q or H and keep the logo at 30 percent or less.
Which format is best for print?
SVG. It is a vector file and stays sharp at any size. For websites and documents PNG works well.
Is anything tracked?
No. Your text and logo stay in your browser. There is no redirect and no scan counter.
